RESOLUTION

No. 2025-164
WHEREAS: The Director of Public Services requested sealed proposals for a new HVAC system at the Martin Recreation Center RFP #2026-PS-004, with bids received on August 25, 2025, and
WHEREAS: Award has been recommended to the lowest, most responsive bidder being Automatic Temperature Controls, Inc. of Cranston, RI, at its bid price of $243,990.00 with an additional $10,000.00 in project contingency to be held in reserve by the city for a not to exceed project total of $253,990.00. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED: That the bid of Automatic Temperature Controls, Inc. of Cranston, RI, is hereby accepted and the Council Chair is authorized to sign said contract on behalf of the City, subject to favorable review by the City Solicitor, and the total project cost of $253,990.00, including $243,990.00 for anticipated contract construction work and $10,000.00 contingency, is hereby approved.
