RESOLUTION
OF THE
COUNCIL
No.2025-89
WHEREAS, Parking in The City of Newport has been for many years and continues to be, a challenge for city residents; AND
WHEREAS, There must be a balance regarding public parking which allows for "turnover" and the ability for residents of the city and others to enjoy the services that city businesses provide; NOW THEREFORE BE IT:
RESOLVED: That the city administration shall take the necessary steps to make Spring Street from the corner of Memorial Boulevard to the corner of Prospect Hill Street, two hour parking.
