RESOLUTION
OF THE
COUNCIL
No. 2025-95
WHEREAS: The Director of Public Services requested sealed proposals to for the lease of retail space at Easton’s Beach, RFP #25-REC-003, with Requests for Proposals received on May 7, 2025; AND
WHEREAS: Award has been recommended to Rhody Surf, Inc. of Newport, RI, and meeting all specifications included in RFP# 25-REC-003, dated 7 May 2025, for umbrella and chair concessions at Easton’s Beach, for a period of one year (2025), including payment to the City of $2,000.00; NOW THEREFORE BE IT
RESOLVED: That the RFP proposal of Rhody Surf, Inc. of Newport, RI, is accepted, and the Council Chair is authorized to sign said agreement, subject to favorable review by the City Solicitor.
