TOWN OF MIDDLETOWN, RHODE ISLAND

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE TOWN CODE OF THE

TOWN OF MIDDLETOWN

An ordinance in amendment to the Town Code of the Town of Middletown Title III, Administration, Chapter 36 Fee Schedule, (D) Parks and Recreation, (1) Beach Parking Fees is hereby amended as follows:

NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED AS FOLLOWS:

(Additions are underlined; deletions are stricken)

(D) Parks and Recreation.

(1) Beach Parking Fees.

(a) A Middletown Parking pass for Residents only, authorizing free parking at Third Beach, Dunlap Wheeler Park, and Middletown Town Beach.

(b) Season Parking Pass: Sachuest Beach and Third Beach and Middletown Town Beach.

1. Resident: $90 $100.
2. Resident Senior: $85.
(c) Season Parking Pass: Sachuest Beach, Third Beach (Boat Ramp Lot only).
1. Non-Resident: $180 $200.
2. Non-Resident Senior: $170.
(d) Weekdays: $25 $28.04.
(e) Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays: $35 $37.38
(f) Motorcycles:
1. Daily, including weekends and holidays: $20 $23.36
2. Season Pass: Resident: $40 $45.
3. Season Pass: Non-Resident: $80 $90.

SECOND: Chapter 36 All other Sections remains unchanged.

THIRD: This ordinance shall take effect upon passage and all ordinances or parts of ordinance inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed.

***Effective July 1, 2026 by vote of the Council on May 27, 2026
