RESOLUTION
OF THE
COUNCIL
No. 2025-138
WHEREAS: The City of Newport is committed to improving its roadway infrastructure; and
WHEREAS: The City of Newport has been allocated $111,944.09 in Municipal Road and Bridge Program Funds from the State of Rhode Island through its Department of Transportation (RIDOT) to support its road improvement program; and
WHEREAS: RIDOT requests the City of Newport's execution of this Local Public Agency Agreement to support the partnership. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED: that the Council Chair may, by signature, execute this agreement on behalf of the City of Newport upon final review and approval by the City Solicitor.
