TITLE III ADMINISTRATION
Chapter 36, Fee Schedule
(B) Building/Zoning
(3) Construction Permit Fees. All Building, Demolition/Moving, Electrical, Plumbing,
Mechanical and Sign Permits.
(a) Fee: $25 plus $30 for first $1,000 of the estimated cost of the project plus $15 for each additional $1,000 or fraction thereof.

(b) State levy on residential construction: 0.1 (.001) percent levy of total construction cost for each permit issued, up to a maximum of $50.00 for each permit issued for one- and two-family dwellings. This additional levy is transmitted to the state monthly. (RIGL Title 23 Chapter 27.3)
(c) Radon fee: .02 multiplied by foundation square footage. Residential only.
(a) Late Filing Fee: an additional fee of 50% of the permit fee or $500, whichever amount is greater. (Applies to all types of permits/working without a permit.)
(d)(e) Certificate of Occupancy: $50.
(e)(d) Fences and Walls: $50.
(f)(e) Tent License: $30.
(g)(f) Temporary Sign: $25.
(h)(g) Seasonal Sign: $50.
