AN ORDINANCE IN AMENDMENT OF TITLE 10 OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT, RHODE ISLAND, REVISION OF 1994, AS AMENDED, ENTITLED, "VEHICLES & TRAFFIC":

BE IT ORDAINED by the City of Newport:

SECTION 1. Chapter 10.56 the Codified Ordinances of the City of Newport, RI, Revision of 1994, as amended, entitled, "ONE-WAY STREETS" is hereby further amended, as follows:

10.56.010. One-way streets designated - Signs required.

Upon the following streets and parts of streets vehicular traffic shall move only in the indicated direction when signs indicating the direction of traffic are erected and maintained at every intersection where movement in the opposite director is prohibited:

DELETE:
"Dixon Street. Eastbound from Thames Street and Spring Street;"

ADD IN LIEU THEREOF:
"Dixon Street. Westbound from Spring Street to Thames Street;"

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and all ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed.
