2025-95 Resolution of the Council, re: Approving the construction manager at risk’s Guaranteed Maximum Price Contract for the Middletown Middle High School construction project with Gilbane Building Company, funding from the School Improvement Bond Proceeds and all expenses recorded in the School Department’s Capital Projects Fund and the Town Administrator is authorized to execute the agreement of behalf of the Town.

WHEREAS:
The Town of Middletown, the School Building Committee, and the School Committee have received and reviewed the Guaranteed Maximum Price contract from Gilbane Building Company as the construction manager at risk for the Middletown Middle High School construction project,
and,
WHEREAS:
The School Building Committee and School Committee have agreed to forward the Guaranteed Maximum Price contract to the Middletown Town Council,
and,
RESOLVED:
That the Town Council approves the construction manager at risk’s Guaranteed Maximum Price Contract for the Middletown Middle High School construction project with Gilbane Building Company of Providence, Rhode Island for an amount not to exceed one hundred thirty-five million eight hundred twenty-one thousand eight hundred forty dollars and zero cents ($135,821,840.00) as detailed below:

That the Town Administrator is authorized hereby to negotiate and execute an agreement on behalf of the Town of Middletown.
