No. 2026-51
WHEREAS: The City of Newport, Police Department requested proposals for one 8.5’x 20’ Tandem Axle Enclosed V-nose Cargo Trailer, RFP # 2026-POL-001, proposals were received on January 15, 2026; and
WHEREAS: Award has been recommended to the most responsive and responsible qualified bidder at their bid price of $51,995.00; NOW THEREFORE BE IT
RESOLVED: That the bid of The Trailer Depot, LLC, 1037 Middletown Ave, Northford, CT 06472 is hereby accepted and the City Administration is authorized to issue the associated Purchase Order.
