RESOLUTION
OF THE
COUNCIL
No. 2025-167
WHEREAS: The Director of Public Services requested design-build proposals for Perroti Park Harbor Shuttle Landing Seawall & Floating Dock Reconstruction, #2025-MAR-003, with proposals received on August 28, 2025; and
WHEREAS: Award has been recommended to the most responsive and value driven contractor being Reagan Marine Construction of Newport, RI, for a total of $7,949,000.00 including $7,199,000.00 for anticipated contract construction work and $750,000.00 contingency (to be held in reserve by the City). NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED: that the proposal of Reagan Marine Construction of Newport, RI, is hereby accepted and the Council Chair is authorized to sign said contract on behalf of the City, subject to favorable review by the City Solicitor, and the total project cost in the amount of $7,949,000.00, including $7,199,000.00 for anticipated contract construction work and $750,000.00 contingency, is hereby approved.
