RESOLUTION

OF THE
COUNCIL

No. 2025-183

WHEREAS: The Director of Public Services solicited quotes through the Rhode Island Master Price Agreement for Bulk Rock Salt to support the Public Works Division’s winter operations, with quotes received on September 10, 2025; and

WHEREAS: City personnel have reviewed the quotes in accordance with the required specifications and criteria as specified in the solicitation and recommends award of the lowest quoted price to Eastern Salt Company, of Lowell, MA; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT

RESOLVED: That the quote of Eastern Salt Company, of Lowell, MA, is hereby accepted at the unit price of $76.45 per ton with a maximum not to exceed total cost of $135,000.00.
