MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL

WORKSHOP RE: RESIDENT STICKER PARKING/ITC PETITION PROCESS

The following items of business, filed with the City Clerk under the Rules of the Council, came before the Council at a workshop held on  October 7, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. Innovate Newport, 513 Broadway, Newport, RI 02840.

The CITY CLERK called the Roll and the following members were present:

MAYOR KHAMSYVORAVONG opened the workshop.    COUNCILOR ARAMLI provided information regarding the program.  Jim Nolan, Finance Director, provided the Council with recommendations the staff working group determined.  Ryan Duffy, Police Chief, addressed the Council.  Nick Craig, Director of Information Technology, addressed the Council.  City Solicitor Behan addressed the Council.  Bill Boardman, City Engineer, address the Council regarding the sticker parking petition process.  Discussion occurred among the Council and City Manager Kennedy.
