WHEREAS:

The Town received cost proposals from Rhode Island Energy to conduct an engineering study and design for undergrounding electric overhead facilities along lower Aquidneck Avenue and for Vanasse Hangen Brustlin, Inc. (VHB) to provide additional consulting services for said study,

and

RESOLVED:

That the Town Council approves the proposal from Rhode Island Energy in the amount of one hundred-three thousand dollars and zero cents (103,000.00) and the contract amendment with VHB in the amount of twenty-four thousand dollars and zero cents ($24,000.00) in accordance with the proposals provided,

And

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:

That the funding for these proposals is from the Tax Incremental Financing of the Atlantic Beach District.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:

That the Finance Director is authorized hereby to execute said contract amendment on behalf of the Town of Middletown.
