WHEREAS: the State of Rhode Island’s Master Price Agreement #584, Engineering Services, presents GZA Geoenvironmental Inc. (GZA), of Providence, RI, as a qualified vendor able to provide the required services for use by the City of Newport for services associated with the final design and construction administration of the Cliff Walk repairs; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED: that the City of Newport hire GZA, of Providence, RI via RI MPA #584, for a not to exceed cost of $414,580.00, and the Mayor is authorized to sign said contract on behalf of the City, subject to favorable review by the City Solicitor.
