RESOLUTION

OF THE

COUNCIL

No: 2025-94

WHEREAS:

Colliers Project Leaders has put forward a proposal for relocation of existing trees at the location of the Middletown Middle-High School construction site from North-Eastern Tree Service. The proposal was received and evaluated by Colliers, and a recommendation was forwarded to the Town Administrator and School Building Committee,

and,

WHEREAS:

The School Building Committee and Town Administrator have agreed to forward the recommendation to the Town Council,

and,

RESOLVED:

That the Town Council approves the proposal from North-Eastern Tree Service, Inc. of Cranston, Rhode Island, for the relocation of trees at the Middletown Middle-High School site location in the amount of eight thousand nine hundred dollars and zero cents ($8,900.00),

and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:

That the funding for this proposal is to be from the School Improvement Bond Proceeds and Interest and all expenses recorded in the School Department’s Capital Projects Fund,

and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:

That the Town Administrator is authorized hereby to execute an agreement on behalf of the Town of Middletown.
