AN ORDINANCE IN AMENDMENT OF TITLE 10 OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF
THE CITY OF NEWPORT, RHODE ISLAND, REVISION OF 1994, AS AMENDED,
ENTITLED, "VEHICLES & TRAFFIC":

BE IT ORDAINED by the City of Newport:

SECTION 1. Chapter 10.52 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of
Newport, RI, Revision of 1994, as amended, entitled, "WEIGHT-
RESTRICTED STREETS" is hereby further amended, as follows:

10.52.010. - No through-streets listed—Signs required.

Upon the following streets and parts of streets, no
through commercial buses and trucks with a tare weight in excess
of five thousand five hundred (5,500) pounds shall be permitted,
and sufficient signs shall be erected and maintained by the city
to provide adequate notice to motorists:

ADD: "Bedlow Avenue"

"Hillside Avenue. Between Bedlow Avenue and Admiral
Kalbfus Road"

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and
all ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent herewith are
hereby repealed.
