WHEREAS:

The town desires explore development options at addresses of 351, 361, and 393 East Main Road for affordable housing, and

RESOLVED:

That the contract with FJS Associates be amended to include funds for technical services provided by Union Studio Architecture and Community Design, Inc. for architectural services for TWENTY-THREE THOUSAND DOLLARS AND ZERO CENTS ($23,000.00), and

RESOLVED:

That the contract with FJS Associates be amended to include funds for professional engineering and landscape architecture services – schematic design provided by Horsley Witten Group for NINETEEN THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS AND ZERO CENTS ($19,400.00), and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:

That funding for the change order totaling FORTY-TWO THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS AND ZERO CENTS ($42,400.00) to the FJS Associates Contract be paid out of PREDEVELOPMENT PROGRAM GRANT from Rhode Island Housing,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:

That the Town Administrator is authorized hereby to execute said change order on behalf of the Town of Middletown.
