Middletown Outreach Advisory Committee Charge

Whereas: The Town Council wishes to assess and support the needs of all town residents and provide educational, wellness, and workforce development opportunities, and

Whereas: The Middletown Outreach Advisory Committee was established to assess local needs and resources available and advise the Town Council on matters of community well-being now Therefore, be it

Resolved: That the Middletown Outreach Advisory Committee is charged with the following tasks:

1. Establish a regular dialog with a representative group of town residents to understand the needs of the community, providing valuable feedback to the Town Council and town staff;
2. Research potential opportunities and resources for programs that could benefit the Middletown community;
3. Serve the community by advising in and participating in the development and execution of potential townwide programs;
4. Advise and monitor Civic Appropriations applications;
5. Develop a network of community partners that will assist advisory committee in its tasks and
6. Undertake any other project or duty as determined by the Town Council that impacts the well-being of community residents.
