WHEREAS: The State of Rhode Island’s Master Price Agreement (RI MPA) #584, Engineering Services, presents BETA Group, Inc., of Lincoln, RI, as a qualified vendor able to provide the required services for use by the City of Newport for Pavement Management services. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT

RESOLVED: That the City of Newport hire BETA Group, Inc., of Lincoln, RI, via RI MPA #584, for a not to exceed cost of $25,000.00 and the Council Chair is authorized to sign said contract on behalf of the City, subject to favorable review by the City Solicitor.
