RESOLUTION
OF THE
COUNCIL
No. 2026-107
WHEREAS: The Director of Public Services received five (5) bids for inspection/repair services associated with Elevators – Bid #2026-PS-016, Citywide Elevator Testing & Maintenance and recommends award to Otis Elevator Company of Smithfield, RI; and
WHEREAS: The Contractor agrees to perform quarterly maintenance and annual inspections on the City’s and School Department’s elevators four (4) times per year, July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027 (base period) with two (2) one-year option periods (same months), at the discretion of the City, in accordance with all terms and specifications contained within the bid documents at the proposed unit prices.
