2026-23 Resolution of the Council, re: Approval to award change

Resolution
WHEREAS:
The Town of Middletown put forward a request for qualifications for architectural services for the Rhode Island Department of Education Stage II & III Necessity of Construction Plan for the Middletown School Department that were forwarded for review and recommendation to the Town Council and,
WHEREAS:
After review, Town Council agreed to award the agreement to HMFH/DBVW Architects,
RESOLVED:
That the Middletown Town Council agrees to change order number eight in the amount of five hundred thirty thousand seven hundred five dollars and zero cents (530,705.00) for supplemental services for Forest Avenue Elementary School,
and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:
That funding for this change order is from the School Improvement Bond Proceeds, bond interest, and/or bond premium and all expenses recorded in the School Department’s Capital Projects Fund,
and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:
That the Town Administrator is authorized hereby to execute this change order on behalf of the Town of Middletown.
