RESOLUTION

OF THE

COUNCIL

No: 2026-9

WHEREAS:

The Town of Middletown has awarded Paving and Utility Repair work to East Coast Landscaping and Construction at the September 3, 2024 meeting.

WHEREAS:

The Middletown Town Hall experienced a sewer back up in the Summer of 2025 and the Town is close to beginning the renovation project of 110 Enterprise to be the new location of the Middletown Library and wishes to lay fiber from East Main Road to the new location.

RESOLVED:

That the Middletown Town Council approves the following change order, for the total sum not to exceed two hundred twenty-one thousand four hundred twelve dollars and zero cents ($221,412.00) to be allocated out as follows:

Sewer Fund – Fund Balance - $114,667.00
Public Private Venture (PPV) Fund - $106,745.00

and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:

That the Town Administrator is authorized hereby to execute this change order on behalf of the Town of Middletown.
