WHEREAS: the State of Rhode Island’s Master Price Agreement (RIMPA) #494, Architectural and Engineering Services, Award No. 3721983, presents DBVW Architects, Inc., of Providence, RI, as a qualified vendor able to provide architectural and engineering services for the upgrade of the Geothermal HVAC and Electrical Systems at Newport History Museum; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT

RESOLVED: that the contract by and between the City of Newport and DBVW Architects of Providence, RI, is hereby approved in the not to exceed amount of $134,180.00 to provide architectural and engineering services associated with the design and construction/installation oversight for work associated with Newport History Museum in accordance with RIMPA #494 and the Mayor is authorized to sign said contract on behalf of the City, subject to favorable review by the City Solicitor.
