WHEREAS: The City of Newport, Department of Utilities,
requested Sealed Bids for Utilities Supplies, Bid # 2026-UTL-005. Bids were received on April 7, 2026;
and
WHEREAS: Award has been recommended to the lowest qualified bidder(s) being; Core & Main, Norwood, MA;
Ferguson Waterworks, Canton MA; John Hoadley and Sons, Inc., Rockland, MA; E.J. Prescott, Lincoln,
Rhode Island; Stiles Company, Norwood, MA; Ti-Sales LLC, Sudbury, MA, at their Unit Price submittals; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED: That the bids of Core & Main, Norwood, MA;
Ferguson Waterworks, Canton MA; John Hoadley and Sons, Inc., Rockland, MA; E.J. Prescott, Lincoln,
Rhode Island; Stiles Company, Norwood, MA; Ti-Sales LLC, Sudbury, MA, are hereby accepted for the period of July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027, at a total not to exceed (NTE) cost of $986,013.00 and the City Administration is authorized to issue Unit Priced Purchase Orders.
