2025-72 Resolution of the Council, re: FJS Associates contract – East Main Road change order and authorize the Town Administrator to execute said change order on behalf of the Town of Middletown. September 15, 2025

RESOLUTION

OF THE

COUNCIL

No: 2025-72

WHEREAS:

The town desires to explore development options at addresses of 351 East Main Road for affordable housing, and

RESOLVED:

That the contract with FJS Associates be amended to include funds for professional engineering and landscape architecture services – preliminary plan provided by Horsley Witten Group for ONE HUNDRED TWELVE THOUSAND DOLLARS AND ZERO CENTS ($112,000.00), and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:

That funding for the change order to the FJS Associates contract be paid out of PREDEVELOPMENT PROGRAM GRANT from Rhode Island Housing,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:

That the Town Administrator is authorized hereby to execute said change order on behalf of the Town of Middletown.
