RESOLUTION

No. 2026-22
WHEREAS: The City of Newport, Harbor Division requested sealed proposals for Architecture and Engineering Services of the rebuild of the Perrotti park Harbormaster building, solicited under RFQ# 2026-MAR-003. Proposals were received on January 16, 2026; and
WHEREAS: Award has been recommended to the most responsive and value driven proposal being BIA.Studio of Boston, MA 02111, at their price of $630,548.00. Award shall be at the sole discretion of the City in accordance with all terms and specifications contained within the proposal documents. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED: That the proposal of BIA.Studio of Boston, MA 02111, is hereby accepted at a total cost of $630,548.00 and the Mayor is authorized to sign said contract on behalf of the City, subject to favorable review by the City Solicitor.
