THE TOWN OF MIDDLETOWN

RESOLUTION

OF THE

COUNCIL

No: 2026-27

WHEREAS:
A contract for DESIGN SERVICES-DUNLAP-WHEELER PARK was awarded to BETA GROUP, of Lincoln, Rhode Island, to develop a concept plan for improvements to Dunlap-Wheeler Park, and

WHEREAS:
Working with the Open Space & Fields Committee, the Tree Commission, and with public input, a concept plan for park improvements and a preliminary budget has been prepared, and

WHEREAS:
The concept plan has been presented to the Town Council for review and comment, now

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED:

That the Town Council hereby expresses its support for the concept plan as presented, subject to any requested modifications, and authorizes the administration to proceed with work toward completing final design and permitting, subject to funding availability.
