WORKSHOP RE: BUDGET OVERVIEW

JOINT WITH THE SCHOOL COMMITTEE

The following items of business, filed with the City Clerk under the Rules of the Council, came before the Council at a workshop held on  May 1, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 43 Broadway, Newport, RI 02840.

The CITY CLERK called the Roll and the following members were present:

MAYOR KHAMSYVORAVONG opened the workshop.    Ronald Gonsalves, Director of Administration and Finance addressed the City Council and School Committee to present the school budget.    Discussion occurred among the City Council and School Committee members and Colleen Burns Jermain, Superintendent.
