RESOLUTION
OF THE
COUNCIL
No. 2025-148
WHEREAS: the Harbor Department needs to purchase a new patrol vessel; and
WHEREAS: NW Bend Boats, LLC - dba North River Boats, of Roseburg, Oregon, is currently the sole manufacturer and vendor who can produce a 28-foot safety vessel with an inboard jet drive engine. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED: that the contract with NW Bend Boats, LLC/dba North River Boats of Roseburg, Oregon, to construct a 28-foot, in-board jet drive engine patrol vessel in the not to exceed amount of $453,646.11 is hereby approved and the Council Chair is authorized to sign said contract on behalf of the City, subject to favorable review by the City Solicitor.
