AN ORDINANCE IN AMENDMENT OF TITLE 5 OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF
THE CITY OF NEWPORT, RHODE ISLAND, REVISION OF 1994, AS AMENDED,

ENTITLED, "BUSINESS LICENSES AND REGULATIONS".

BE IT ORDAINED by the City of Newport,

SECTION 1. Chapter 5.12 of the Codified Ordinances of the City
of Newport, Rhode Island, Revision of 1994, as amended,
entitled, "ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE LICENSES", is hereby amended as follows:

5.12.040 Number of Licenses Permitted.

DELETE:
Class BT 15
Class BL 11

ADD IN LIEU THEREOF:
Class BT 16
Class BL 10

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage
and all ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent herewith
are hereby repealed.
