ORDINANCE OF THE

TOWN OF MIDDLETOWN, RHODE ISLAND

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE TOWN CODE OF THE

TOWN OF MIDDLETOWN

An ordinance in amendment to the Town Code of the Town of Middletown Title III, Administration, Chapter 36 Fee Schedule, (B) Building/Zoning, by adding (8) Storage Containers is hereby amended as follows:

NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED AS FOLLOWS:

(Additions are underlined; deletions are stricken)

FIRST: (8) Storage Containers: Fee $50.00, permit valid for 120 days, with the ability for a one-time extension granted at the Building Officials discretion.

(8) (9) Short Term Rentals: The fee for registering under this chapter shall be $55 for each bedroom in the unit with a minimum fee of $55; the fee for premises on which the owner maintains his or her principal residence shall be $55 per dwelling unit regardless of the number of bedrooms.

SECOND: Chapter 36 All other Sections remains unchanged.

THIRD: This ordinance shall take effect upon passage and all ordinances or parts of ordinance inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed.
