** **It is the policy of the Middletown Public Schools not to discriminate on  the basis of age, color, sex, sexual orientation, race, religion, national origin,  marital status, political affiliation, or disability in its employment policies.   This policy will apply to all matters related to personnel and the  Middletown Public Schools will act affirmatively to enforce this policy.   Personnel actions of the Middletown Public Schools will be periodically  monitored and evaluated to ensure consistency with this policy and the goals of  affirmative action.
