Per Diem Substitute Employees Reasonable Assurance Policy

PER DIEM SUBSTITUTE EMPLOYEES REASONABLE ASSURANCE

Qualified per diem substitutes have reasonable assurance to work for Middletown  Public Schools with the following conditions:

1. All substitutes are required to participate in an annual Safety & Orientation  Workshop in order to remain on the District’s AESOP substitute call list.

2. All substitutes will be called through, and recorded in AESOP, the District’s  substitute caller system. Failure to use the AESOP substitute caller system  may be grounds for termination.

3.  A yearly review will be conducted to remove inactive substitutes from the system.  After removal, a substitute will need to re-apply and complete the application process.
