AN ORDINANCE IN AMENDMENT OF TITLE 10 OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF
THE CITY OF NEWPORT, RHODE ISLAND, REVISION OF 1994, AS AMENDED,
ENTITLED, "VEHICLES & TRAFFIC":
BE IT ORDAINED by the City of Newport:
SECTION 1. Chapter 10.24 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of
Newport, RI, Revision of 1994, as amended, entitled, "PARKING
RESTRICTIONS ON SPECIFIC STREETS" is hereby further amended, as follows:
10.24.020. - Parking prohibited in certain places during certain
hours.
DELETE:
Oak Street, South side, six a.m. to six p.m. daily, except for
vehicles bearing an official police department parking pass.
ADD:
Collins Street, North side, be designated Police Employee Parking
Only 24 hours a day.
Oak Street, South Side, be designated Police Employee Parking Only
for 24 hours a day.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and
all ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent herewith are
hereby repealed.
