WHEREAS: the State of Rhode Island's Master Price Agreement #584, Engineering Services, presents FR Engineering Group Inc., of Warwick, RI, as a qualified vendor able to provide the required services for use by the City of Newport for the professional engineering services for the extension of Ann Street Pier. NOW THER EFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED: that the contract addendum by and between City of Newport and FR Engineering Group Inc., of Warwick, RI, is hereby approved in the not to exceed amount of $50,000.00, to provide professional engineering services to perform a subsurface investigation and Contract-Level design assistance and the Council Chair is authorized to sign said contract addendum on behalf of the City, subject to favorable review by the City Solicitor.
