RESOLUTION

WHEREAS:

The Town has been notified of a 2024 Rhode Island Infrastructure Bank (RIIB) Grant award under the 2024 RIIB Resilient Rhody Municipal Resilience Program Action Grant Program in the amount of $750,000 to fund culvert replacements at Green End Avenue and Berkeley Avenue,

and

WHEREAS:

The grant requires a minimum 25% match of local funding toward the total grant award amount, totaling $187,500, now, therefore,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:

That the Town Administrator is authorized hereby to accept said grant, execute the grant agreement, and allocate town matching funds from the American Rescue Plan Act funding in the amount of $187,500.00.
