2025-62 Resolution of the Council, re: Approving the recommendation for Gilbane Building Company to award the subcontracts for Millwork, Painting, Theatre and Stage Equipment, Window Treatments and all expenses recorded in the School Department’s Capital Projects Fund and the Town Administrator is authorized to notify Gilbane Building Company to award the subcontracts.

WHEREAS:

Gilbane Building Company has put forward a bid package for Millwork, Painting, Theatre and Stage Equipment, and Window Treatments for the construction of the Middle-High School project. The responses were received and evaluated by Gilbane Building Company and Colliers, and a recommendation was forwarded to the Town Administrator and School Building Committee,

and,

WHEREAS:

The School Building Committee and Town Administrator have agreed to forward the recommendation to the Town Council,

and,

RESOLVED:

That the Town Council approve the recommendation for Gilbane Building Company to award the subcontracts Millwork, Painting, Theatre and Stage Equipment, and Window Treatments for the construction of the Middle-High School project to the vendors and not to exceed amounts identified as follows:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:

That the funding for this proposal is to be from the School Improvement Bond Proceeds and all expenses recorded in the School Department’s Capital Projects Fund,

and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:

That the Town Administrator is authorized to notify Gilbane Building Company to award the subcontracts of Millwork, Painting, Theatre and Stage Equipment, and Window Treatments for the construction of the Middle-High School project.
