RESOLUTION

WHEREAS: The Audrain Automobile Museum wishes to enter into an agreement with the City for the temporary use of Easton’s Beach parking lot to accommodate its daytime patrons of the Annual Audrain’s Newport Concours Motor Week during the daytime hours of 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM for the period October 2 to 5, 2025, inclusive and,

WHEREAS: The Audrain Automobile Museum will provide its own staff to oversee all aspects of the Annual Audrain’s Newport Concours Motor Week Parking Program at Easton’s Beach, indemnify the City for any personal injuries or property damage, and carry liability insurance in the amount of $1 million; and,

WHEREAS: The agreement specifies that the Audrain Automobile Museum payment be $10,210.00 for the 2025 Parking Program; and at the City’s option, up to one additional year at a rate of $10,721.00 for 2026. NOW THEREFORE BE IT

RESOLVED: That the agreement with the Audrain Automobile Museum for lease of space at the Easton’s Beach parking lot for parking during the Annual Audrain’s Newport Concours Motor Week Parking Program for the period of period October 2 to 5, 2025, inclusive is approved and the Council Chair is authorized to sign said agreement on behalf of the City, upon favorable review of the City Solicitor’s office.
