TOWN OF MIDDLETOWN, RHODE ISLAND

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE TOWN CODE OF THE

TOWN OF MIDDLETOWN

An ordinance in amendment to the Town Code of the Town of Middletown Title III, Administration, Chapter 36 Fee Schedule, (D) Parks and Recreation, (1) Beach Parking Fees is hereby amended as follows:

NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED AS FOLLOWS:

(Additions are underlined; deletions are stricken)

FIRST: The following fees will be charged for permits, licenses and other services provided by the town.

(D) Parks and Recreation.

(1) Beach Parking Fees.

(a) A Middletown Parking pass for Residents only, authorizing free parking at Third Beach, Dunlap Wheeler Park and Middletown Town Beach.

(a) Resident Season Parking Pass: Sachuest Beach, Third Beach (Boat Ramp Lot and Middletown Town Beach) and Dunlap Wheeler Park.

1. Resident: $100.
2. Resident Senior: $85.
3. Motorcycle: $45.

(b) Non-resident Season Parking Pass: Sachuest Beach (Main Lot and Triangle A), Third Beach (Boat Ramp Lot only).

1. Non-Resident: $200.
2. Non-Resident Senior: $170.
3. Motorcycle: $90.

(c) Non-resident Season Parking Pass: Third Beach Boat Ramp Lot (Must be Middletown mooring holder or be towing a boat for access): $200.

(d) Daily parking:

1. Weekdays: $28.04.

2. Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays: $37.38.
3. Motorcycle, including weekdays and holidays: $23.36.
4. Bus (Monday through Friday only, excluding holidays): $46.73.
5. Class A, B & C Motorhome (Monday through Friday only, excluding holidays, no overnights): $46.73.

(d) Week Days: $28.04.
(e) Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays: $37.38.
(f) Motorcycles:
1. Daily, including weekends and holiday: $23.36.
2. Season Pass: Resident: $45.
3. Season Pass: Non-Resident: $90.
(e) Resident Parking Pass: Dunlap Wheeler Park only: Free.

(fg) Small craft storage rack rental: Third Beach.
1. Season pass for resident: $50.
2. Season pass for non-resident: $100.
(gh) Small craft seizure fee: $150.

SECOND: Chapter 36 All other Sections remains unchanged.

THIRD: This ordinance shall take effect upon passage and all ordinances or parts of ordinance inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed.
