NO. 2026-10
AN ORDINANCE IN AMENDMENT OF TITLE 10 OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT, RHODE ISLAND, REVISION OF 1994, AS AMENDED, ENTITLED, "VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC."
BE IT ORDAINED by the City of Newport:
SECTION 1. Chapter 10.20 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Newport, Revision of 1994, as amended, entitled, "Parking Generally," is hereby further amended as follows:
10.20.170. Towing by Police Division.
The police division and all members thereof are authorized to remove and tow away, or have removed and towed away by a commercial towing service, in accordance with Chapter 5.92, the following:
ADD TO PARAGRAPH C:
25. Narragansett Ave, beginning Six Hundred Forty-six (646) feet east of Ochre Point Ave, proceeding Sixty (60) feet east to its terminus while encompassing the street width of Thirty-four (34) feet.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and all ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed.
