RESOLUTION

COUNCIL
No. 2025-172
WHEREAS, The City of Newport currently participates in the Houston-Galveston Area Council (HGAC) cooperative purchasing agreement for fire service apparatus and equipment as per Resolution 2018-037; and
WHEREAS: The Fire Department has recommended award to Greenwood Emergency Vehicles, LLC of 530 John Dietsch Blvd. North Attleboro, MA for the purchase of one (1) unit of a Wheeled Coach 2026 Ford F550 Gas 4X4 Type 1 Rescue, at a total cost of $383,971.00; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED: That the award to Greenwood Emergency Vehicles, LLC of 530 John Dietsch Blvd., North Attleboro, MA is hereby accepted at a total cost of $383,971.00 and the Council Chair is authorized to sign said contract on behalf of the City, subject to favorable review of the City Solicitor.
