2025-190 Award of Contract – RIMPA – Purchase of Fire Department Vehicle

RESOLUTION

No. 2025-190

WHEREAS: The City of Newport currently participates in the RI Master Price Agreement MPA 559FY25; and

WHEREAS: The Fire Department has recommended award under RIMPA 559FY25 to CMG, Colonial Municipal Group of 61 Camelot Drive, Plymouth, MA for the purchase of one (1) 2026 Chevy Tahoe SSV, at a total cost of $56,064.01. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT

RESOLVED: That the award to CMG, Colonial Municipal Group of 61 Camelot Dr. Plymouth, MA for the purchase of one (1) unit of 2026 Chevy Tahoe SSV, at a total cost of $56,064.01 is hereby approved and the Council Chair is authorized to sign said contract on behalf of the City, subject to favorable review by the City Solicitor.
