WHEREAS: The State of Rhode Island’s Master Price Agreement (RIMPA) #494, Architectural and Engineering Services, Award No. 3776726, presents Creative Environment Corp., of Cranston, RI, as a qualified vendor able to provide architectural and engineering services for the addition of an HVAC system at the Martin Recreation Center, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT

RESOLVED: That the contract by and between the City of Newport and Creative Environmental Corp. of Cranston, RI, is hereby approved in the not to exceed amount of $24,000.00 to provide engineering services associated with the design and construction oversight for work associated with the Martin Recreation Center in accordance with RIMPA #494. The Council Chair is authorized to sign said contract on behalf of the City, subject to favorable review by the City Solicitor.
