WHEREAS:

The Town of Middletown’s would like to collaborate with the City of Newport to implement the Situation Table Program,

and,

RESOLVED:

That the Middletown Town Council agrees to enter into a memorandum of agreement with the City of Newport to equally share the training costs of $25,288. Middletown will reimburse the City of Newport TWELVE THOUSANDSIX HUNDRED FOURTY-FOUR DOLLARS AND NO CENTS ($12,644.00).

and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:

That the funding for this training and personnel costs will be funded from the Opioid settlement proceed which is included in the fiscal year 2025 Community Outreach budget.

and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:

That the Finance Director is authorized hereby to execute this memorandum of agreement on behalf of the Town of Middletown.
