RESOLUTION

COUNCIL
No. 2025-168
WHEREAS: the City of Newport’s Fire Department requires the replacement of (4) Motorola APX Consolettes to replace (4) existing Consolettes that are well beyond their recommended service life; and
WHEREAS: award has been recommended to Motorola Solutions Incorporated, 500 West Monroe, Chicago, IL 6066 at their bid price of $51,414.99, for the purchase and installation of the devices to be completed under the terms and conditions of MPA 395. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED: that the bid of Motorola Solutions Incorporated, 500 West Monroe, Chicago, IL 6066 for (4) consolettes, at their bid price of $51,414.99, for the purchase and installation of the devices is hereby approved and the Council Chair is authorized to sign said contract on behalf of the City, subject to favorable review by the City Solicitor.
