2024-55 Award of Contract – RIMPA - Professional Engineering Services for Ann Street Pier Extension

WHEREAS: the State of Rhode Island’s Master Price Agreement #584, Engineering Services, presents FR Engineering Group Inc., of Warwick, RI, as a qualified vendor able to provide the required services for use by the City of Newport for services associated with the professional engineering services for the extension of Ann Street Pier. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT

RESOLVED: that the contract with FR Engineering Group Inc., of Warwick, RI via RI MPA #584 is approved for a not to exceed cost of $27,000.00, and the Mayor is authorized to sign said contract on behalf of the City, subject to favorable review by the City Solicitor.
