2024-64 Award of Bid # 24-077 - Utilities Supplies

RESOLUTION

OF THE
COUNCIL
No. 2024-64

WHEREAS: the City of Newport, Department of Utilities requested Sealed Bids for Utilities Supplies, Bid # 24-077. Bids were received on May 7, 2024.

WHEREAS: award has been recommended to the lowest qualified bidder(s) being; E.J. Prescott, of Lincoln, Rhode Island; Core & Main, Norwood, Massachusetts; Stiles Company, of Norwood, Massachusetts; John Hoadley and Sons, Rockland, MA; and Ferguson Waterworks, Canton Massachusetts; Warwick Winwater, Warwick, RI, at their Unit Price submittals.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: that the bids of E.J. Prescott, of Lincoln, RI; Core & Main, Norwood, MA; Stiles Company, of Norwood, MA; John Hoadley and Sons, Rockland, MA; and Ferguson Waterworks, Canton, MA; Warwick Winwater, Warwick, RI, are hereby accepted for the period of July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025, at a total NTE cost of $986,013.00 and the City Administration is authorized to issue Unit Priced Purchase Orders.
