MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL

WORKSHOP RE: EASTON’S BEACH MATTERS

The following items of business, filed with the City Clerk under the Rules of the Council, came before the Council at a workshop held on April 24, 2024 at 4:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 43 Broadway, Newport, RI 02840.

The CITY CLERK called the Roll and the following members were present:

MAYOR KHAMSYVORAVONG opened the workshop.    Erik Reis, Beach and Recreation Administrator addressed the Council to provide information regarding the operation plans for the 2024 season as well as the concession plans.  Discussion occurred among the Council.  The following members from the public addressed the Council:

John Boxer, 35 Prairie Ave.
