2025-56 Award of Contract – RIMPA - Police Records Office Cubicles

RESOLUTION

OF THE
COUNCIL
No. 2025-56

WHEREAS: The State of Rhode Island’s Master Price Agreement #617, Office Furniture & Related Services, presents, AllSteel LLC of Muscatine, Iowa, as a qualified vendor able to provide the required services for use by the City of Newport for services associated with the furnishment and installation of office equipment and cubicles. This will be supplied and installed by their local distributor, WB Mason of Brockton, Massachusetts; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT

RESOLVED: That the City of Newport purchase supplies and installation from AllSteel LLC of Muscatine, Iowa with fulfillment of equipment and install to be done by WB Mason of Brockton, Massachusetts via RI MPA #617, for a not to exceed cost of $41,626.34 and the Council Chair is authorized to sign said contract on behalf of the City, subject to favorable review by the City Solicitor.
