WHEREAS: The Greater Boston Police Council contracts presents McGovern Municipal HQ, of Marlborough, Massachusetts, as a qualified vendor able to provide the required up fitted Ford Police Utility PPV vehicle for use by the City of Newport Police Department for Police Patrol use. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT

RESOLVED: That the purchase from McGovern Municipal HQ, of Marlborough, Massachusetts via the Greater Boston Police Council contract, for a not to exceed cost of $64,202.20, is hereby approved and the Council Chair is authorized to sign said contract on behalf of the City, subject to favorable review by the City Solicitor.
